SERS Group Wins Saturation Diving System Build Contract

SERS Group has secured a contract for the design, manufacture and installation of a bespoke Saturation Diving System. The Saturation Diving System will be manufactured in Singapore and permanently installed into the clients new purpose-built DP2 Diving Support Vessel (DSV) currently under construction. SERS Group will also supply an Air Diving System along with other auxiliary equipment to the client.

The state-of-the-art 12-man Saturation Diving System will have a maximum operating depth of 300 meters, built to ABS classification and designed to exceed all current IMCA and OGP guidelines. The system will make exclusive use of Divex Life Support equipment and will also include a davit launched 14-man Oceanwide SPHL along with the provision for a second SPHL which may be added at a later date if so required.

Chukar Waterjet's Deepwater Subsea Waterjet provides innovative solutions and demonstrates the advanced technology for the world's most challenging waterjet applications. The system is capable of operating at depths in excess of 3000 meters and is effective at cutting steel up to 250 mm thick or waterjet blasting at pressures up to 3800 bar.

SERS Group Race Team Scored High in Japan

The SERS Group supported Lamborghini GT3 race car has scored a hugely impressive double podium in rounds one and two of the 2013 GT Asia Series held at the famous Twin Ring Motegi, Japan over the weekend.

After huge success in 2012 while competing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Cup, the team has taken the step-up this year to compete in the Internationally famous GT3 category and have joined the GT Asia Series with a brand new 2013 Reiter Lamborghini GT3 FL2 race car. Drivers for this season in the GT Asia Series will see the continuation of SERS Group's own in-house gun pro-driver Ro Charlz spearheading the assault.

The teams lead driver Ro Charlz done a spectacular job in qualifying to put the car on the second row of the grid in qualifying. He scored the fastest overall lap in the tricky wet conditions, a great achievement considering the calibre of the pro driver field and that it was the teams first outing.

The team is headed by Ro Charlz (pro-driver) and Malaysia's Tunku Hammam. Both drivers have very successful careers with countless wins and championships between them. SERS Group is a key partner to the team and driver and with great success uses the GT3 racing program as one of the cornerstones for client entertainment, networking and marketing purposes.

Our industry leading Hydraulic Diamond Wire Cutter is one of the SERS's in-house products. The Diamond Wire Cutter is capable of cutting any subsea structure from 406.4mm – 914.4mm (16-36 in) and 914.4mm – 1371.6mm (36-54 in) or larger size. The system is recommended for cutting pipelines, risers, conductors and multi-string conductors. We have units available in Singapore for lease or purchase.
