DECOMMISSIONING AND DEMOLITION
SERS provides a one stop shop for cost effective solutions in providing Decommission and Demolition Services. SERS have been able to make this specialised cutting technology more affordable to the oil & gas market by manufacturing in-house bespoke tooling equipment with skilled, certified technicians and over 4 decades of onshore and offshore cutting experience.
Deepwater Subsea Waterjet System
The SERS-Chukar Waterjet Tooling systems provide innovative solutions for the world's most challenging waterjet applications. SERS-Chukar Waterjet Systems are capable of operations at subsea depths in excess of 3000 msw.
Underwater Platform Demolition
Demolition of Redundant Jetties/Piers
The picture in the left shows a Shear Cutter is cutting through concrete support pillars reinforced with internal steel bars. Approximate Cutting time is 50-seconds. The Cutter is designed to shear and expose steel “Re-Bar” on square, round or octagonal precast concrete piles on or offshore.

Diamond Wire Cutting System
The SERS Diamond Wire Cutting Systems are capable of cutting from 10” up to 140” diameters either on the surface or subsea by using divers or ROV applications.
Hydraulic Shear Cutting System
The SERS Group Hydraulic Shear Cutters have been purposely designed to remotely cut / shear ABOVE and BELOW water, onshore and offshore platforms, steel (single or multi-string) conductors and piles filled with or without grout.
Hydraulic Shear Cutting Tooling Service
When required, the manufactured bespoke Waterjet System is attached below the Shear Cutter, and has been specially designed to submerge the shear cutter below the mud line. High pressure combined with high flow, churns and liquefies the seabed, thus allowing the cutter to sink under its own weight to its required cutting depth.
