INTERNAL LIFTING TOOL ( ILT)

Internal Lifting Tools (ILT) is designed for efficient pick-up and lay-down pipes and piles. Remotely hydraulically operated ILT stabs inside the pipe section where gripping segments then expand onto the inner pipe surface to ensure a safe and firm hold. The section can then be quickly manpowered in any motion as required (usually via the crane operator).

The pick-up arm itself can be removed to allow the tool ease of passage through platform guides, sleeves and other areas with limited space. The Internal Lifting Tool automatically accommodates for variations in wall thickness and has replaceable segment spacers to adapt for different pipe sizes.

Pipe does not have to be stacked and can be picked-up and manoeuvred horizontally making this tool a great time saver in the field.
