CONCRETE COATING REMOVAL TOOL (CCRT)

SERS supplies and operates various types of Concrete Coating Removal Tools (CCRT). We also design and manufacture CCRT which caters to the clients' needs. CCRT is one of the most efficient and proven tools for concrete and coating removal on pipelines in a sub-sea environment.

CCRT utilizes ultra-high water pressure jetting to penetrate pipeline coating / concrete and lifts it from the inner steel pipeline section ensuring no damage to the pipeline itself. CCRT is also used for Abrasive Water Cutting by means of grit injection, making this a versatile, safe and powerful tool in the field.

 

​Either remotely operated or via a diver, CCRT allows for a range of different 'cuts' to be performed, i.e. straight, angled, bevelled, castellated, etc. and can be used for cutting large openings in pipelines and riser pipes.
